Emerging reports indicate that all that has been learnt from the Arsenal management on the coming January transfer window might just be a way of pulling the legs of the fans.
It would be recalled that the Gunners chief had stated that they do not expect any business deals in the winter transfer window which opens in the coming weeks.
According to them, signings have already been made in the last summer transfer window, adding that those in charge of the decision at the club are not believers in the winter window.
It was added that a deal might only come through if there arises an emergency situation which makes it necessary for addition to be made as it was stressed that major transfer dealings will be done only in the summer window.
However, a latest report by former Arsenal player Ray Parlour who understands the workings at the Emirates Stadium with a good knowledge of this as well, revealed that there could be new signings for the North London side in this winter window.
According to him, Arsenal boss Unai Emery is already preparing to strengthen his squad but claims he is unaware of the positions that the Spanish boss intends to strengthen.
