Real Madrid to contend with Chelsea for 27-year-old in-demand midfielder .
According to reports, European champions Real Madrid have joined the list of clubs keen on a move for in-demand Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
The Los Merengues could wrap up a deal for the 27-year-old as early as January.
Aaron Ramsey is on his way out of Arsenal due to the fact that he has six months left on contract and senior Gunners officials are not ready to offer fresh terms.
The Welshman was initially offered a new contract only for the club to withdraw it some months back.
The 2013 FA Cup winner is free to talk to foreign clubs about a potential free transfer move as from January meaning that a deal can be agreed with Real Madrid by next month.
The interest of the Champions League holders was confirmed by the Daily Mirror.
Aaron Ramsey has been strongly linked with Chelsea in the past weeks but it seems that the Blues interest in him has cooled somewhat due to the impressive performances of the England midfield duo of Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Ross Barkley.
Apart from Real Madrid and Chelsea, he has also been rumoured to be a transfer target for clubs like Liverpool, Juventus, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, AC Milan and AS Roma.
