Leicester City star player Riyad Mihrez has revealed information regarding the rumours he is set to join Arsenal this summer, Arsene Wenger admitted he his keen on the 26-year-old, however, the star player has called on Arsene Wenger to turn his interest into something concrete.
There have been reports suggesting that Arsenal are offering £50m for the Algerian International but the player himself denied the reports and claimed he is yet to receive any offer from the Gunners.
Speaking after his International game for Algeria, Mahrez stated: “It’s an honour to receive compliments like this from such a big manager in world football.
“But there’s a big difference between an offer and speculation, so there is nothing on the table at the moment.”
Mahrez also went on to explain the agreement he had with Leicester City chairman.
He said: ‘The chairman and I agreed that I would stay another year at the club and that he would let me leave at the end of the season,’ he continued.
‘I think it would be the right time for me to leave, I have experienced everything at this football club.
‘I went from the Championship to the Premier League, I stayed up with the team the next season, we won the Premier League, I won the PFA player of the year award, I played the Champions League, so we did something quite exceptional.
