Arsenal goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez has completed his move to join Reading until the end of the season, with an announcement being awaited.
The North London side are hoping to hand more playing time to the goalkeeper knowing that he could be of use in the coming season as it has been announced that experienced goalkeeper Petr Cech will be hanging his boot at the end of the season.
The legendary goalkeeper and former Chelsea stopper is one of the best the Premier League has ever produced but he could still remain with the Gunners for a coaching role at the club.
However, suggestions are that Emiliano Martinez is allowed to move on to gain some experience and no longer be match-rusty knowing that he has got a lot of jobs to do as the second choice to German international goalkeeper Bernd Leno.
The news of Emiliano Martinez’s loan switch was confirmed by his sports management agency Twenty Two Sports via a video where they wrote “news soon”
Howbeit, Emiliano Martinez could return to the North London side should he fail should the Arsenal management fail to secure a new goalkeeper in the coming summer window.
