Man United flop heading to Serie A this summer

It has been reported that Brazilian international and Man United flop Fred is a subject of speculations of interest from the Italian Serie A this summer transfer window.

The report hints that AS Roma are willing to hand Fred the opportunity of kickstarting his career again after failing to establish himself at Old Trafford.

Fred joined the Red Devils last year from Shakhtar Donetsk and has struggled since then without any hope of returning to his best despite the presence of manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Italian news outlet Il Romanista state that Man United are not looking forward to parting ways with the Brazilian international on a permanent deal which makes AS Roma seek to bring the 26-year-old to Stadio Olimpico on a two-year loan deal.

According to the report, talks have already been held and personal terms have been agreed with the player ahead of a potential move.

It would be recalled that Fred and the new Roma boss Paulo Fonseca worked together in Ukraine, where the pair won two league titles. This could be an opportunity to unite again.

There are suggestions that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will not block the loan move for Fred as he is also keen to free the team of players that have not been impressive so far.
