Arenal, Liverpool eye PSG 23-year-old star – report

According to The Gambling Times, Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea have all held initial discussions with Ligue 1 side Paris St-Germain for German Julian Draxler.

The 23-year-old attacker faces being dropped down the pecking order at the French Capital club following the world transfer record acquisition of Neymar Jr from FC Barcelona.

But the German’s agent Roger Witterman has tried to play down rumour over his client’s future at the club.

The German has been strongly linked with a transfer to Arsenal ever since bursting onto limelight at Schalke 04 as a teenager.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is in the market for a winger but he is struggling to sign his primary transfer target Thomas Lemar from AS Monaco.

As per The Gambling Times, the Gunners are the most interested of the Premier League suitors.

Julian Draxler could be a more realistic target for the Gunners than Lemar or Leicester City forward Riyad Mahrez, with time running out to sign players.

But it is Merseyside giant Liverpool, scouring the transfer market for Barcelona bound Philippe Coutinho replacements, who are the front-runners to sign Draxler.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, like Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, is on the hunt for a quality winger.

United have been unable to sign their main target Ivan Perisic from Serie A side Inter Milan, and it has emerged that the Red Devils are now considering signing Monaco’s Lemar.
