Derby County manager Frank Lampard has revealed that winger Harry Wilson can be recalled from his loan deal by Liverpool when the transfer window reopens in the next few weeks.
Chelsea legend Frank Lampard is the new manager of English Championship side Derby County after he was appointed in the summer.
He spoke about Welsh international winger Harry Wilson in an interview with the Derby Telegraph.
The ex-England international midfielder confirmed that the Reds are able to call their player back in the New Year.
Harry Wilson is at Derby County on a season-long loan deal from Liverpool but the statements credited to Lampard means that Liverpool can recall him from the loan deal.
The Reds can end his loan deal abruptly as confirmed by Lampard.
This is in stark contrast to the report from popular media outlet ESPN some days back.
ESPN claim that Liverpool can’t end the winger’s loan deal with Derby County.
Harry Wilson has been at the centre of the loan recall due to his impressive outings for Derby County.
He has scored seven goals in 15 appearances to aid the Rams’ push for a promotion slot.
In addition, the 21-year-old is a full Welsh international and has scored twice in eight appearances for Wales.
