Former Arsenal winger Emmanuel Petit has sent a brutal warning to summer signing Alexandre Lacazette over his Arsenal future after the winter signing of Gabon star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Good winter signing

As per BBC Sport, Arsenal splashed a club transfer record fee of about £56million at the time to secure the signature of Aubemayang from German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund on deadline day of the January transfer window, and the forward has made a good start at the Emirates.

The Gabon international striker was prolific during his playing time in the Geman league and didn’t take forever to get off the mark for his new side, scoring a well-taken goal in the 5-1 thrashing of Everton last weekend.

Lacazette decline

Alex Lacazette hasn’t started very well since joining the club last summer, despite performing pretty well at his former club Lyon.

Emmanuel Petit has told the Metro that the 26-year-old could already be a major candidate to leave when the season ends due to the presence of Aubameyang up front.

Arsenal faithful’s will be strongly disappointed that Lacazette is struggling at the club despite the Frenchman clearly having a lot of quality as shown during his playing time in the French Ligue 1.
