Deal agreed – Liverpool have been given permission to agree to personal terms with Domagoj Vida.

Despite Liverpool reaching a £66.5 million deal recently with Roma’s goal keeper, Alisson Becker, the club may be on it way to agree another deal with Croatia centre back, Domagoj Vida.

Report from Turkey stated that The Reds are already in talks with Besiktas and the two clubs have reached an agreement.

The agreement stated that Vida’s transfer has been fixed at £20 million even though Besiktas was expecting a higher fee, as they had valued him at £30 million.

It was however disclosed that Liverpool had made two offers attempt to sign the Croatia international but the mission was accomplished at the third attempt.

Domagoj Vida, had played for his home country, Croatia, in the recently concluded world cup in Russia.

He featured in virtually every game the Croatians played from the group stage to the final match against France.

Croatia may not have lifted the world cup but they have shown the world that when it comes to football they can’t be written off.

As the team was listed among the teams with the best team in the world.

If Vida agrees to move to Melwood, he will join his fellow countryman Dejan Lovren to play for the English club.
