Lille owner Gerard Lopez has confirmed that the club has received an offer from China for in-form forward Nicolas Pepe.
Ivorian international Pepe has been linked with several clubs in and outside of Europe as a result of his sensational performances for Lille this season.
One of the aforementioned clubs is Liverpool who want to strengthen their attack when the transfer window reopens in the summer.
Lille owner Gerard Lopez told Canal Plus earlier this week that they have received enquiries for the player from clubs in the Premier League and in China as well.
On his value, the Lille owner told French news outlet RMC Sport that it will take between €50m to €80m for any club to sign Pepe.
Nicolas Pepe has been the best player at Lille by a country mile since signing for the former French Ligue 1 champions from fellow top-flight side Angers in 2017.
Lille battled with relegation for the first half of last season before Pepe’s goals propelled them to safety.
He has continued that rich vein of form into this season with 16 goals scored and eight goals assisted in just 26 league games.
His form has led Lille to second spot on the league table in France’s top division meaning that they are on course for Champions League football next season.
