Former Chelsea player and one time Ballon d’Or winner, Andriy Shevchenko, has reached out to Chelsea striker, Alvaro Morata.

The legendary goal scorer, who also had a poor moment at Chelsea advised the struggling Morata to be more clinical in terms of scoring goals.

Alvaro Morata has found himself struggling to score goals for Chelsea since his arrival from Real Madrid.

This season has seen the Blues striker score just two goals ( against Arsenal in the EPL and against Mol Vidi in the UEL) which is too low for a player of his calibre.

His performance has further raised speculations whether he is another Fernando Torres – who also struggled to perform for the Blues and had to take the exit earlier than expected.

Andriy Shevchenko in his statement quoted by Goal.com said  ‘The main thing is that Alvaro Morata has chances.’

He, however, believes that the striker can up his game if only he becomes ‘more clinical in front of goal.’

Andriy Shevchenko is confident of Morata scoring more goals if he takes to his advise.

Hopefully, Coach Maurizio Sarri will give the Spanish striker some more playing time to see if he will improve before making a final decision.
