Roberto Firmino

Five-time European champions Liverpool have no plans of selling forward Roberto Firmino this summer according to the BBC Sport.

Liverpool are adamant that the Brazilian international will stay at the club beyond this summer despite the strong interest from French giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG).

PSG manager Thomas Tuchel is said to be a huge admirer of the aforementioned Firmino and he’s been targeted as the French giants prepare for life outside of Edinson Cavani.

Uruguayan international Cavani is the first choice striker at PSG but the former Napoli and Palermo player is expected to leave the club this summer.

Cavani has already been linked with clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea.

Liverpool want to retain all their important players this summer including the aforementioned Firmino.

The Brazilian international didn’t have the best of ends to the Premier League this season following a muscle injury.

He has missed the last three games in all competitions for Liverpool as a result of the said injury.

Roberto Firmino has scored 16 goals in all competitions this season and he’s expected to be fit for the crucial Champions League final meeting with North London outfit Tottenham Hotspur billed for the new Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid next month.
