According to reports, Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata fears for his Chelsea future if former FC Barcelona manager Luis Enrique does come in to succeed manager Antonio Conte.
Enrique linked with Premier League move
Sky Sports are among the news sources to recently suggest Enrique is looking as a possible option for the Blues as he seeks a managerial job with an English Premier League side after taking a season out of football after his spell at the Nou Camp.
This could have consequences for some current player’s at Stamford Bridge, however, with Don Balon suggesting Alvaro Morata is worried about the possible appointment of the Spaniard.
The 25-year-old former Real Madrid forward only moved to the west London club last summer transfer window, and Don Balon suggest he’s aware of Antonio Conte’s role in bringing him to Stamford Bridge.
Morata fear Chelsea position
It may be that the Spain international striker would not fit into Enrique’s plans, though we’ll have to wait and see if the player is justified in being worried about his place in the team.
The Spain tactician looks a good potential hire for the Blues if they do opt to part ways with Italian tactician Antonio Conte, with the 47-year-old manager winning two Spanish La Liga titles and the UEFA Champions League in three years in charge of Catalan giants FC Barcelona.
