4-3-3: Liverpool’s Likely New Starting XI With Back-from-injury Star Player

Philippe Coutinho

Liverpool encountered lot of issues last month but will hope things will get better as they approach the busiest period of the season.

The latest news circulating around Anfield right now is that the duo of Adam Lallana and Phillipe Coutinho are both expected to be back to full fitness when the premier league resume after the international break.

Senegalese star player Sadio Mane is back to full action and was part of those who thrashed West Ham United at the London Stadium on Saturday – providing two assists.

Club captain Jordan Henderson remained sidelined after sustaining an injury on his thigh, and it is not yet known when he will be back.

In the Englishman’s absence, Germany midfielder Emre Can was brilliant in the defensive midfield role last weekend, and many feel the German is better than Henderson and should permanently replace the skipper in the starting XI.

Can, who is likely to leave Anfield at the end of this season, seem to be stronger and more creative than Jordan.

Coming back to Adam Lallana, the talented player was very much impressive at Liverpool last season, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists.

He is expected to start with both Emre Can and Philippe Coutinho in the center of the park, and here is how the system is likely to be arranged by Klopp.

GK – Mignolet

DC – Klavan

DC – Matip

DL – Moreno

DR – Gomez

DM – Can

MC – Lallana
