Liverpool have to pay £80million to complete Alisson signing

According to reports, Liverpool and La Liga giants Real Madrid face a potentially major obstacle on completing the transfer of AS Roma safe hand Alisson as he’s in discussions over a fresh contract that could see a buyout clause included in the deal.

Alisson heavily linked

As per Italian publication Calciomercato, the Brazilian is wanted by the likes of Real Madrid, Liverpool, and Paris Saint-Germain, but could be about to see his valuation rise to £80million.

Alisson’s good form in the Italian Serie A recently has quickly seen the goalie become labeled as one of the best goalkeepers across Europe, and it looks like only a matter of time before the shot-stopper makes his way to a bigger European side.

Liverpool in need of a top quality goalie

The Reds urgently require the services of a quality safe hand of this caliber, with British publication the Sun also recently linking the Merseysider’s with Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland in that role.

Neither Belgian Simon Mignolet nor Loris Karius has impressed in between the sticks for the club when handed the opportunity by manager Jurgen Klopp, and it’s crystal clear that Alisson would be an upgrade.

For Real Madrid, the side also look in need of a top quality signing in that position as first choice goalie Keylor Navas fails to convince fans and manager alike as being a suitable Number one.
