4-3-3: How Liverpool Will Line Up If They Sign Nicolas Pepe

Lille winger Nicolas Pepe has emerged as one of the most exciting prospects on the European football stage and it is not surprising that several clubs want to sign him.

The Ivorian international player has been seriously linked with a move to newly crowned Champions League winners Liverpool though the Reds will have to see off the threat of other interested clubs.

Apart from Liverpool, major European clubs like Bayern Munich, Inter Milan and Arsenal have all been touted as possible transfer destinations for the in-form winger.

Nicolas Pepe is said to be rated at around €70m after a sensational campaign for Lille who finished in second spot at the end of the just concluded French Ligue 1 season.

The winger scored 22 goals and also provided 11 assists for Lille during the league campaign.

Only Paris Saint Germain (PSG) forward Kylian Mbappe scored more goals than Pepe.

Nicolas Pepe is likely to replace Roberto Firmino in the Liverpool starting XI if he signs for the Reds this summer.

The Brazilian international is the least productive of the three forwards (Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah).

Liverpool Starting XI (4-3-3): Alisson Becker; Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil Van Dijk, Joel Matip, Andy Robertson; Fabinho, Georginio Wijnaldum, Jordan Henderson; Nicolas Pepe, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane.
