Santos youngster Rodrygo Goes has been in the news in recent times due to his links with top European clubs.
More recently, his agent made it known that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are interested in him and even made some moves in their attempts to bring him over to Anfield.
Nick Arcuri revealed that Liverpool, alongside some other top European sides like Barcelona and Paris Saint Germain, actually submitted offers for the player – but they were all rejected.
Nevertheless, Goes’ side have reached an agreement with Champions League winners Real Madrid and it was expected that a deal should be struck before the end of June, after which he will be allowed to remain with Santos for another term.
Goes is just 17-year-old, and regulations on the ground won’t allow him to travel overseas until he celebrates his 18th birthday.
The talented teenager has been impressive at Santos and was able to catch the attention of football lovers across the globe with his impressive displays.
The Daily Mail made it known that Liverpool have been monitoring his progress at Santos for over a year.
The Brazilian star is set for an upgrade in his career at the Bernabeu and will earn a whopping €330,000 each month at the club.
