Arsenal attacking midfielder Alex Iwobi has been in great form with the Gunners team having improved in his game and helped his team deliver good results with his assists.

Iwobi has never had it this good in his career as a first-team player since his emergence in the 2015/2016 season failing to be consistent in his performance.

The coming of new manager Unai Emery has been praised for raising the standard of the Nigerian’s game. The evidence of Iwobi’s improvement under the Spanish manager is very glaring to see.

Iwobi’s form has been replicated with the national team when he did provide an assist to China based striker Odion Ighalo with a killer pass in the Saturday’s AFCON qualifiers.

He was one of the best on the field amongst the team that defeated Libya on Saturday evening.

This, therefore, got Nigerians talking, especially singing the praise of the North London manager Emery for doing a good job on Iwobi.

The Nigerian football followers believe that the Spanish manager is all responsible for the good that has happened to the 22-year-old.

Meanwhile, the Super Eagles will now travel to face Tunisia to play the second leg of the AFCON qualifier game against Libya.

Why I am still ‘unhappy’, Unai Emery
