Liverpool failed to win their last two matches despite kicking off this new season impressively.
They were thrashed 5-0 by Manchester City last weekend and drew Sevilla 2-2 at Anfield on Wednesday evening in their Champions League group opener.
They will, however, be aiming to bounce back to winning ways when they clash with Burnley on Saturday for their next premier league game.
They are currently three points behind league leaders Manchester United and are regarded favourites to get all three points after full-time against Burnley.
And as far as Liverpool’s team news is concerned, Senegal star player Sadio Mane won’t be playing against the clarets as a result of his red card against Man City. So, Brazilian superstar Philippe Coutinho is expected to replace him in the starting XI.
We expect Jurgen Klopp to grant summer signing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain a start in the game while Dutch midfielder Wijnaldum should sit on the bench.
Trent Alexandre-Arnold is likely to replace Joe Gomez while Andrew Robertson should get a start ahead of Alberto Moreno.
Club captain Henderson will be playing in the defensive midfield role and Simon Mignolet replacing Karius inbetween the sticks, here is the reds strongest possible 4-3-3 formation against the clarets.
GK – Mignolet
DL – Robertson
DC – Lovren
DC – Matip
DR – Trent
DM – Henderson
MC – Can
MC – Oxlade-Chamberlain
WL – Countiho
WR – Salah
FC – Firmino
