Former Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has urged young winger Callum Hudson-Odoi to stay at Stamford Bridge amidst the intense transfer rumors linking him with a move away from the club this summer.

Frank Lampard told TalkSport that Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi should stay at the club to realize his huge potentials.

The Chelsea legend has been earning rave reviews in the media after leading Derby County to contention for the playoffs in the fight for Premier League football next season.

Lampard was named the Derby County manager last summer.

It remains to be seen whether Callum Hudson-Odoi will listen to the Blues’ record goalscorer.

The young English winger is said to be frustrated with the lack of playing time at Chelsea and he’s ready to leave the club.

He has made 17 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions this season with just seven starts.

German champions Bayern Munich retain an interest in the 18-year-old having tried to sign him during the winter transfer window.

Bayern had several bids turned down for him by Chelsea who are keen to hold on to him.

Hudson-Odoi handed in a transfer request in January but it was swiftly rejected by Chelsea.

The England junior international has less than 18 months left on his current deal at the club.
