Lucas Moura

According to reports, premier league heavyweights Manchester United have made an approach to sign Lucas Moura from Paris Saint Germain this month.

Moura is surplus to requirements at the Paris club and is now struggling for regular first-team actions under manager Unai Emery.

The red devils made a move for Lucas back in 2012, but he chose to join the French heavyweights for £38m.

Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku picked an injury during their recent premier league game against Southampton at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Additionally, manager Jose Mourinho will also be without Zlatan Ibrahimovic for up to a month after the former Barcelona striker injured his knee.

Mourinho is said to have held a recent meeting with Ed Woodward and has informed him about the need to invest more money to bring in new players to add more quality to his team at Old Trafford.

And according to Le10 Sport, the red devils are enquiring about Paris Saint Germain’s Lucas Moura.

The talented player has been linked with the Chinese Super League in recent times, but he will obviously embrace a move to Old Trafford over the far-east.

It was also added that Mourinho’s side are yet to make an official bid for Lucas but are still expecting his club to give a response about his availability.
