3-4-1-2 Formation: Chelsea Likely To Thrash Liverpool If Conte Field This Starting XI

Chelsea won Qarabag 4-0 on Wednesday to secure a spot in the knockout stages of the Champions League, and their next attention is now towards the premier league game at Liverpool this weekend.

This season so far in the premier league, the Merseyside club have only conceded just one goal at home, and Chelsea will need to work hard to emerge victorious as they need to earn all three points from the game to keep their title hopes alive.

And as far as Chelsea team news is concerned, we are obviously expecting a handful of changes from what we saw in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Summer signing Alvaro Morata will definitely return back to the starting XI, and the talented striker will likely partner with Eden Hazard in front of goal. Also, we expect Cesc Fabregas to start behind the pair as a playmaker.

In the midfield, the duo of N’Golo Kante and Tiemoue Bakayoko should take care of the center of the park with Zappacosta and Alonso playing in the wing-back positions.

In the backside, the trio of Christensen, Cahill and Azpilicueta should start, while Thibaut Courtois will definitely be in-between the sticks.

Here is Chelsea’s strongest possible 3-4-1-2 XI at Anfield this weekend.

GK – Courtois
DC – Christensen
DC – Cahill
DC – Azpilicueta
ML – Alonso
MC – Bakayoko
MC – Kante
MR – Zappacosta
AC – Cesc
FC – Hazard
FC – Morata
