Former FC Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has been taking English lessons ahead of an anticipated transfer to the English Premier League, as per Spanish football reporter Guillem Balague.
Enrique linked with PL move
Recently, Enrique has been linked heavily with replacing Italian tactician Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge, though North London outfit Arsenal’s name have also emerged in some reports.
The football expert, however, has played down the rumour that he’s been approached by Arsenal, though he does confirm ‘intermediates’ have been in contact with him from Premier League giant Chelsea and French giants Paris Saint-Germain.
Manager wants to test strength
Louis Enrique surely seems interested in testing himself in Premier League football, with the English top flight widely seen as being the World’s most competitive league for some time now.
Having won so much in his three seasons in charge of FC Barcelona, it is a little shock to see the 47-year-old Spaniard is now being considered by so many top sides.
The Telegraph have strongly linked the Chelsea and Arsenal target with the Blues due to his intent to test his strength against other top-name managers such as United boss Jose Mourinho and Man City tactician Pep Guardiola, while Mundo Deportivo also linked the manager him with the gunners.
