Why Solskjaer should be held responsible for any player’s exit

The latest statement credited to Manchester United interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hints that he is responsible for making the decision on who leaves the club and who stays at the end of the season.

Since taking over as the Red Devils boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been influential both on and off the pitch but that has been able to happen because of the fact that he has produced good results at the club.

However, he is reported to have told the club’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward the players that are fit to stay till the end of the season and those that should be shown the way out.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is claimed to have made the decision because of the fact that he hopes to qualify the club for the Champions League next season and there is need to keep players who will be able to meet up to level.

Although Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s contract with the club runs out at the end of the season, there are decisions that need to be taken at the moment which should involve the team manager.

However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is in line to be given the job at United on a permanent basis after impressing with the number of wins.
