England international Jack Wilshere has warned City rivals Tottenham Hotspur that the Gunners are out to get the maximum three points when they play host their bitter rivals at The Emirates Stadium next Saturday.
Arsenal head into the match desperately looking to return to winning ways after the unfortunate 3-1 defeat to Premier League rivals Manchester City at The Etihad Stadium last weekend.
That loss left the Gunners in sixth place in the English League table and 12 points adrift runaway league leaders Manchester City after just 11 matches of the new League season.
Spurs, meanwhile, have had a good start to the new season, with Mauricio Pochettino’s boys currently placed third in the English Premier League log and eight points’ adrift leaders Manchester City.
Tottenham travel to the Emirates looking to inflict upon their local rivals Arsenal their second successive loss in the English Premier League.
However, Jack Wilshere has insisted that the Gunners are confident that Wengers team will be able to get the maximum three points against Spurs at The Emirates.
The Gunners have not won the English Premier League since their popular unbeaten victory in the 2003-04 League campaign.
The Gunners finished in fifth position in the table last season as they missed out on UEFA Champions League qualification and had to make do with UEFA Europa League football this campaign.
