West Ham United are reportedly ready to hand former Arsenal and Manchester City player Samir Nasri a hope of rejuvenating his career by bringing him to the club.

The former Arsenal star remains a free agent as he returns from serving a drug ban which has taken him away from football for about 18 months.

The French winger’s ability is never in doubt knowing his performance at Arsenal and also at Manchester City where he won two Premier League titles.

Manuel Pellegrini is reported to be keen on the player so as to help equip his squad which has been hit with a number of injuries with the likes of Manuel Lanzini, Andriy Yarmolenko, Carlos Sanches and Jack Wilshere all on the sideline.

Pellegrini is of the opinion that he can make a statement this season knowing that he recorded 3 wins from 11 games without his complete squad.

Although, suggestions are that the coming of the French winger to the team might cause a lot of upset as he is known for upsetting the fans and teammates with his behaviour.

However, Samir Nasir will add quality to the West Ham side with his dribbles, passes and goal scoring which he is well known to possess.
