Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho thinks one of his star players – in the person of Anthony Martial, has shown a big improvement in his mood and happiness at Old Trafford.
Martial was only able to start just 18 Premier League matches last term, and there were speculations that he is not happy with his lack of chances to show his stuffs at the club.
But so far this season, the 21-year-old has played in all five of his side’s premier league games – even though he has started only one of those games. He has however been able to make good use of his chances adequately by scoring three times and providing an assist for his teammates.
The talented forward was also voted man of the match for his brilliant performance when his side beat Burton Albion 4-1 earlier this week in the Carabao Cup.
And Jose speaking recently of Anthony, made it known that he is seeing lots of improvement in all that is about the player – as a person, in his mood, and even in his body language.
“Martial is a happy guy [that is] working extremely well…and tries to do well. When he comes from the bench…he tries to enjoy and give something extra” Mourinho said.
The former Chelsea boss added that he is very pleased with Martial’s overall attitude, and that players with his kind of attitude finds it easier to play well.
