Jose Mourinho

Finally Manchester United have got reasons to smile following their victory against Fulham after a stretch of winning streak.

United boss Jose Mourinho has been in the centre of all of the frustration and bashing by the media and pundits which raised fears that he would be sent parking away from the club.

The Red Devils are having one of their worst start of the season in their history which almost cost the Portuguese boss his job until calm was restored with a statement by the club owners stating that they believe he can still change things around.

However, with the win against Fulham on Saturday, it is reported that United’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has given his backing to the former Chelsea boss.

According to reports, Woodward stated that the club will not let the Portuguese boss leave as they believe he can change the situation around to return back to winning ways.

This is the seventh win by the Red Devils this season in the Premier League which leaves them with a slim hope of playing in the Champions League next season with the uncertainty over a top four finish at the end of the season.

However, Mourinho is believed to be positive about the season despite the negative results.
