Eder Militao

English Premier League side Manchester United are believed to be in line for the signature of Porto defender Eder Militao as they seek to strengthen their defence.

The Red Devils are also expected to face battle from the West London side Chelsea as they are also reported to be interested in a deal for the Brazilian international.

In addition to having lesser quality at the defence, United are believed to be close to losing out on Eric Bailly and Phil Jones who are pushing for an exit away from the club.

With Eder Militao already impressing this season, he has got the attention of a number of clubs which hints he might not remain any longer with the Portuguese outfit especially with interests already coming in.

So far, Eder Militao has had 14 games under his belt and has scored a goal to his name which adds to the impressive performances so far this season.

The star defender has a contract running until 2023 with the Portuguese outfit and he has got a release clause of about £20million but there are suggestions that the Red Devils will have to pay as high as £25 million to be able to secure his services to the Old Trafford.
