Manchester United heaped lots of praise on Anthony Martial for his impressive performances in their recent 4-2 win over Watford at Vicarage Road on Tuesday.
Martial made his sixth Premier League start for Jose Mourinho’s side in the midweek clash and he scored in the second half to help Man United earn all three points.
The 21-year-old striker has struggled to hold down a regular starting spot at the club since Jose Mourinho took over the mantle of leadership at Old Trafford last year.
However, Anthony has found his form this term and it appears he is now finding his way into Mourinho’s heart.
The Portuguese tactician revealed he was delighted by the youngster’s contribution against Watford on Tuesday.
Watford have been impressive this season so far and not many clubs have been able to win them in the premier league.
But Martial played a big role helping his side beat the Vicarage Road club to continue to keep pace with league leaders Man City.
“He was dangerous [against Watford]… I am pleased [with Anthony].” the former Chelsea boss said in his post-match news conference on Tuesday night.
Man United are set for their next premier league game against Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal this Saturday at the Emirates Stadium, and Martial will hope to make his manager happy once more.
