Folioing the painful 5-1 defeat, North London manager Unai Emery is reported to have identified his side’s problem ahead of the January transfer window which would be opened tomorrow Tuesday.

The defeat is the worst the Spanish boss suffered since taking over from former manager Arsene Wenger in the summer and that has got him reflecting.

However, Daily Mail reports that the Gunners boss has identified a lapse in his midfield and wants the club to do all it takes to land a world class midfielder who will also serve as a replacement for departing Wales international Aaron Ramsey.

Although, Ramsey’s contract with Arsenal will expire at the end of the season which means he would be leaving as a free player since failing o agree on a new deal.

Also, the former PSG boss is reported to be seeking for new defenders as he is short of options in that department especially with the sideline of Rob Holding and Laurent Koscielny who is just recovering from an injury he sustained in May.

However, the Gunners are now fifth in the Premier League table with efforts to break into the top four proving difficult but manager Emery will hope that his new signings will help strengthen his team.
