Premier League clubs including Liverpool won’t be able to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho during this summer’s transfer window according to Hans-Joachim Watzke.

Hans-Joachim Watzke is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund.

According to him, Jadon Sancho is not on the market despite the transfer rumours linking him back to the Premier League.

The 19-year-old has spent a highly successful two-year spell at Borussia Dortmund.

He scored 12 goals for Borussia Dortmund and also provided 14 assists in 34 games in the German Bundesliga this season as they came close to usurping rivals Bayern Munich as the champions.

Bayern Munich sealed a seventh successive league title after thrashing Eintracht Frankfurt 5-0 at home on the final day of the 2018/19 German Bundesliga season.

£100m-rated Sancho became the youngest player to score at least 10 German Bundesliga goals earlier this season at the age of 19 years and 19 days.

He was linked with Liverpool before rivals Manchester City sanctioned his transfer to Borussia Dortmund at the start of last season.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp talked about the England international player and how the Reds were denied the chance to sign him by Manchester City before his move to Germany.

Apart from the Reds, Premier League sides like Manchester United and Chelsea have also been touted as possible transfer destinations for Jadon Sancho.
