Dutch international centre back Virgil Van Dijk added a second goal for the Reds in the second half before Mane added his second goal and the third one for Liverpool.

Sadio Mane and Liverpool had earlier played goalless in the first leg at home before their German opponents succumbed to them in the second leg via a 3-1 aggregate loss.
