Chelsea confirmed that Charly Musonda has signed a fresh contract Yesterday, and while the club’s fans were delighted, they want same news concerning two important players.
Musonda, 21, has struggled for regular football so far this campaign, playing just five matches in all competitions so far, with heavy competition for places at Stamford Bridge.
Signing a new long-term contract is a major boost for the Blues to keep the youngster at the West London club and give him enough time and patience to grow further and seal himself in the senior team.
Whether that happens eventually remains to be seen, as Conte’s side do are renowned for loaning out their young talents who then struggle to break into the senior team at Stamford Bridge.
Notwithstanding, while fans were delighted to see the youngster sign a new contract, they weren’t distracted, as many made several remarks on Twitter with a plead on two other superstars.
Those players were Belgian duo of Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois, with The Express stating earlier in the week how the Italian tactician had allegedly called on Chelsea board to get things resolved over their futures too.
Both stars are absolutely vital to Antonio Conte’s plans going forward but their contracts run out in 2020 and 2019 respectively, although there isn’t a need to panic at the moment, every top team wants longevity and security when it comes to their important players.
