Scottish Premiership champions Celtic face a big transfer battle with West London giants Chelsea for highly-rated Bolton Wanderers youngster Ronan Darcy.
This according to the report from The Scotsman which claimed that Celtic and Chelsea will go head-to-head for the right to sign the young English player.
The 18-year-old made his professional debut for Bolton Wanderers earlier this season.
Darcy came on for the last 20 minutes during a recent game with former European champions Nottingham Forest for his first professional outing.
The player and Bolton Wanderers suffered relegation from the English Championship at the end of this season.

It was revealed that several English clubs including Chelsea are interested in a move for Ronan Darcy but they will face a test in the former of Scottish champions Celtic.
Chelsea might have a big problem in their bid to sign him due to the two-window transfer ban slammed on the club by FIFA.
The Blues have already lost the appeal to that ruling imposed for transfer dealings relating to minor but the Premier League giants claim they will pursue a reprieve on the ruling at the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).
