Former Arsenal midfielder Paul Merson believes that Eden Hazard has already made a decision on his long-term future at Chelsea.

The Gunners legend said this in his recent interview monitored by popular English media platform Daily Star.

Paul Merson also said that Eden Hazard is the best player in the Premier League and that the Belgian is in the top five players in world football.

The statement credited to the ex-Gunners midfielder is coming after Eden Hazard said that he wants to become a legend at the club.

Former Lille forward Hazard made this known in his post-match press conference after he netted a brace to give Chelsea a 2-1 win over Watford in a Premier League clash at Vicarage Road.

The long-term future of Eden Hazard at Chelsea has been up for debate dating back to the summer when European champions Real Madrid were linked with a move for him as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Hazard had previously talked up a move to Real Madrid in October describing it as a dream move.

The Belgian has 18 months left on his contract with Chelsea and has so far failed to sign a new deal that will make him the highest earner in the history of the club.
