Chelsea superstar confirms plan to join Real Madrid following disappointing draw vs FC Barcelona – Not Hazard

Chelsea superstar Thibaut Courtois dropped a bombshell when talking after Tuesday night’s disappointing one all draw against FC Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League.

Top class goalie

The Belgium international goalkeeper is one of the best shot-stopper’s in world football and it’s little shock to see the goalie being linked with La Liga giants Real Madrid as they search for a new goalkeeper.

According to a report by Don Balon, Florentino Perez, Real Madrid President, could be in constant touch with the goalkeeper’s agents this week, and the Chelsea star himself has appeared to accept this interest, confirming that such offers are on the table and that his agents will listen to them.

Courtois coy on future

Courtois, 25, was not crystal clear either way on his playing future, saying he will not forget the belief and opportunity shown in him by the Blues, but also claiming that his family being based in the City of Madrid is important, even if he thinks some quotes about himself saying his heart was in Madrid have been taken out of context.

Either way, with the Belgian still to extend his Chelsea deal that runs out at the end of next campaign, this is certainly another disturbing news for Chelsea supporters in terms of keeping at the club one of their most prized assets.
