The player Solskjaer will need to succeed if he gets United job

The fate of Manchester United interim coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still unknown as he is only handed the opportunity until the end of the season.

The former Man United player was called for the job temporarily in December last year to replace former manager Jose Mourinho who was sacked.

However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer became a candidate for the permanent job after seeing a perfect run since he took over, seeing only one defeat ad one draw in 13 games he has taken charge of across all competitions.

Before now, the Red Devils agreed that they will be moving out to secure a new, experienced and quality manager ahead of the new season but there have been calls and plea from pundits, fans and former players to hand the opportunity to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to continue the good job.

However, the United manager has been advised to move in for Jordan Torunarigha in the summer transfer window should he land the job as he would only have it better with the star player.

Jordan Torunarigha who plays with the German Bundesliga outfit Hertha Berlin has been a force to reckon with in his defending since he came into limelight in the 2016/2017 campaign
