Should Lukaku listen to Allegri’s offer for his signature?

If reports making headlines in Italy are anything to go by, Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku could be heading to Juventus in January.

According to Tuttosport, the Bianconeri are interested in the Belgian signature after seeing how he has struggled for form this season.

Lukaku has scored just six goals in 22 games and he didn’t look like he will add to it anytime soon.

The former Everton star hasn’t been doing great since the start of the season and he is currently lacking the confidence he needs to return back to the deadly form he portrayed during his time at Goodison Park.

Having joined the Red Devils from Everton in a deal which is said to have cost nothing less than £75 million in 2016, the striker has managed 22 goals in all competitions.

The Scuddeto Champions reportedly made move to sign him in the summer but Mourinho turned down the offer.

Now that the Portuguese manager who brought him to Stamford Bridge is out of Old Trafford, the player has revealed his desire to join Juventus if the Serie A giants are still interested in his services.

A move to Juventus — right or wrong?

Though there’s no concrete truth in the rumours as at this moment, if it turns out that Massimiliano Allegri is really interested in him, he shouldn’t hesitate to turn down the offer.

A move to the Turin outfits would be one of the worst decisions in his career as he won’t be given much game-time by Allegri.

Cristiano Ronaldo joined the Bianconeri from Real Madrid in the summer transfer market and has hit the ground running.

The five-time Balon d’Or winner has scored 12 goals in all competitions this season and he’s developed great understanding with the players he met at the club.

Mario Mandzukic is back from injury and he’s scoring goals aplenty for the team.

The Croatian was the hero against Roma last Saturday, his lone goal was all the team needed to pick maximum points in front of their fans.

What else can be said about Paulo Dybala’s form? The Argentine is in the form of his life and I see no reason why he would be dropped for anyone in the world.

With the form of the players listed above, including Douglas Costa, Lukaku will only feature as a fringe part of the team.

Though Lukaku might need to leave Old Trafford to regain his brilliant form and shape, however, Allegri’s team is not an option for him as it would be from fry pan to fire.
