France-based football writer Matt Spiro has revealed that North London giants Arsenal could be a possible destination for Lyon forward Nabil Fekir.
The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with clubs like Liverpool, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid for the better part of the last six months.
Matt Spiro took to his official Twitter handle to reveal that Arsenal star Alexandre Lacazette enjoys a very good relationship with Nabil Fekir during their time together at Lyon and that he could tempt his pal away from the French side.
Nabil Fekir came close to joining Liverpool in the summer in a deal worth £53m but the transfer fell through.
The Reds had concerns about his knee and that played a major part in the breakdown of the transfer.
He was able to recover quickly from that transfer setback as he helped France win a second World Cup title this summer.
Nabil Fekir was an integral part of the French 23-man squad that won this summer’s FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia via a 4-2 win over fellow Europeans Croatia.
Latest reports coming out of Spain reveal that Champions League holders Real Madrid are keen on a move for the player who has a Lyon contract that will expire at the end of next season.
