French international midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has revealed that he’s open to leaving his club before adding that he came close to an exit in the summer.
The 21-year-old talked about a potential exit from his club in a recent interview monitored by Get French Football.
Tanguy Ndombele is on the payroll of French Ligue 1 giants Lyon at the moment.
The young Frenchman spent last season on loan at fellow French Ligue 1 Amiens.
Ndombele returned to Lyon at the start of this season after impressing a great deal at Lyon.
It was revealed that Premier League champions Manchester City had a €50m bid for the player rejected in the summer.
He was one of the two midfielders that the Citizens tried to sign alongside new Chelsea signing Jorginho.
Italian international midfielder Jorginho opted to sign for the Blues ahead of Manchester City due to the influence of new Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri.
Lyon could be tempted to part company with Tanguy Ndombele if they receive a transfer fee of at least €90m for him.
The midfielder was rewarded for his form in the last two seasons with a call-up to the French national team in October.
He made his debut in an international friendly against Iceland (2-2).
