Tottenham Hotspur star player Toby Alderweireld has been linked with a move away from Mauricio Pochettino’s side ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
Toby, who has emerged as a target for the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea, has been consistently in the news recently.
The latest being about him is that he fears he’s being frozen out by his current Argentine manager as Tottenham prepare to sell him at the end of this season.
This season so far, Alderweireld has only made 10 top-flight appearances for Tottenham – and he was not even part of the party that trashed Chelsea 3-1 last Sunday.
The Belgian player has just over two years to run on his current contract at Tottenham, but the club can’t hinder him from moving next year when his release clause is activated.
The defender has been linked with the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea, and both sides are expected to fight for his signature at the end of the season.
It was also made known that Ligue 1 heavyweights Paris Saint Germain are also interested in signing him.
Valued at around £50m, The Mirror are reporting that Toby feels he’s being frozen out under manager Mauricio at Tottenham.
Davinson Sanchez has been impressive all season, pushing all attention away from Toby.
Tottenham are likely to sell Toby this summer to the highest bidder.
