Why Arsenal will not be different from United

There are fears that the North London outfit Arsenal will end up like Manchester United, especially now that their chances of qualifying for the Champions League next season remain slim.

This is the assertion of BT Sport pundit and Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker who thinks that the club’s struggling might last for a while.

He tries to liken the situation at the Emirate Stadium with what happened at the Old Trafford when they parted ways with their legendary manager Alex Ferguson.

It would be recalled that the Red Devils struggled to win titles and games as well as struggling to maintain a particular manager after the exit of the legendary manager.

It happened for the first time in a long time after Alex Ferguson left Man United that the team failed to qualify for the Champions League, a development that never happened in the about 20 years reign of the legendary manager.

However, Gary Lineker fears that the Gunners might stay a long time away from the Champions League with the departure of former manager Arsene Wenger.

He is of the opinion that the club will struggle to recover from the exit of the French manager especially with the fact that they do not have enough players.
