Romelu Lukaku Backs Sanchez To Return to Form Before the End of The Season

Belgium and Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has backed his teammate Alexis Sanchez to return to his best form before the end of the season as he also speaks on Mourinho’s summer transfer plans.

Alexis Sanchez switched to Old Trafford in the winter in a swap deal which is valued at £23million plus Mktarryan’s move to the Emirates stadium.

The 29-year-old striker is yet to replicate his best form for the 20-time Premier League Champions this season to fan’s displeasure.

The Chilean was surprisingly left out of the team’s starting lineup in their 2-0 victory over Brighton and Hove Albion in yesterday’s FA Cup quarterfinal fixture.

Speaking to reporters after the game, Romelu Lukaku admitted that the striker is passing through a difficult time of his career but believes he will begin to find the back of the net before the end of the season.

The Belgian who opened the scoreline during the game reaffirmed that with hard work and his obvious qualities, Sanchez will be back to his usual blistering form for the Red Devils in no time.

He further revealed Mourinho’s transfer plans as he suggests the Portuguese manager will be involved in some high-profile deals ahead of next season.

The Belgian told reporters that Mourinho wants to start winning many trophies with the club from next, therefore there is a need to bring some quality players into the team.

The manager has been linked with some top players including James Rodriguez, Danny Rose, Alex Sandro, Toby Alderweireld, Gareth Bale, Kovacic and Toni Kroos, according to report.
