Manchester United are not willing to take the gamble as they have begun preparing for life after Spain international goalkeeper David De Gea.

The former Atletico Madrid goalkeeper is keen to leave the club and he is yet to sit on the negotiating table to hold talks with the club on a new contract.

De Gea had wished to leave the Old Trafford this winter window after falling out with former manager Jose Mourinho but that will not happen with the Red Devils insisting on his stay until the end of his contract with the club.

The Spanish stopper has a contract until the end of the season but a clause in his contract with United grants them the power to keep him for another year. this has been triggered so as to be able to buy time to secure a new goalkeeper or have him commit his future.

However, plans are already onground to secure a replacement should De Gea fail to commit his future with Brazilian goalkeeper Gabriel Brazao already being linked.

Reports claim that the Red Devils are already preparing a bid of £40.4 million to be able to meet with his release clause.

Gabriel Brazao is only 18-year-old but he has got big abilities and qualities that could earn make him one of the best goalkeepers united would ever had.
