Roma Plotting Another Transfer Move For Man United £50m-rated Star

Roma are considering a move for Manchester United forward, Anthony Martial, according to reports.

The 21-year-old arrived at the Old Trafford from AS Monaco for a fee in excess of £50million and went on to become one of the best players for the Red Devils, scoring decisive goals for them.

However, Martial has not been able to repeat his impressive performances for United since the arrival of Jose Mourinho who benched him for most parts of last season, sparking reports that the Frenchman will seek a move away from the Old Trafford.

Sevilla were said to be interested in signing the Frenchman during the January transfer window but the move could not materialise with reports that Jose Mourinho does not want to sell the player despite his limited chances.

Reports in reliable Italian outlet, Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Roma has approached Manchester United regarding a loan deal for Anthony Martial.

This comes after the arrival of Romelu Lukaku from Everton which might signal the end of the road for Martial who barely got a chances under Jose Mourinho last season.

There are speculations that the French forward is frustrated at his lack of chances at United and will seek a move away this summer as Jose Mourinho also plans to bring in Inter Milan winger, Ivan Perisic who is an upgrade to Martial on the left wing.
