In what will sound as a shock and surprise news to Chelsea fans, Nigerian attacking midfielder/winger Victor Moses has been linked to La Liga giant Barcelona.
According to latest report from The Sun, the Catalan club have targeted the 25-year old star to solve their defensive woe at the right back this season.
Since the departure of Brazilian right back Dani Alves to Juventus this summer, Barca have failed to find a reliable replacement for the Brazilian.
Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has been exploiting different option at the right back this season, due to Aleix Vidal’s failure to impress.
Moses has been on sparkling form Since the switch of formation to 3-4-3 by Antonio Conte, the Nigerian has been able to exceed people expectation in his new role as a right wing-back.
Moses moved to Chelsea in 2012 from Premiership side Wigan Athletic. His spell at Chelsea was however shortened when the club decided to loan him out to Liverpool a season after signing him. Moses also spent his last two seasons away at Stoke City and West Ham United on loan.
Although the Blues have a good relationship with the Spanish team, having gotten the duos of Cesc Fabregas and Pedro from the Catalan Club, we however doubt if Conte will let his in-form star leave the Bridge anytime soon.
