Confident Arsenal in no rush for 6ft talent

Arsenal seem to be confident in their pursuit of Serie A Atlanta central defender Gianluca Mancini despite interests from other suitors as well.

Gianluca Mancini only joined Atlanta in the summer from AC Milan but he has been impressive so far and he seems he will be on his way out owing to the fact that other clubs are already lined up for his signature having learnt of his performance in eight games this season.

The Gunners are therefore expected to battle against German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund for the central defender who has scored three goals this term to help his side sit eight in the league table.

It has been revealed according to reports coming from Italy that Inter Milan are also interested in Gianluca Mancini’s services and will be ready to hijack the deal should the North London side not show enough seriousness.

However, Arsenal are in need of a young but solid central defender who will fit into the shoes of Laurent Koscienly who is reported to be muting a move away from the club.

The Gunners are now fifth in the Premier League table and are expected to return from the international break to continue their struggle for a Champions League qualification.
