Chelsea Target Set For Showdown Talks With Bayern Coach

Chelsea target Renato Sanches is set to meet Bayern Munich manager Carlo Ancelotti to seek clarification over his future at the Bundesliga club.

Bayern Munich are ready to listen to offers for the youngster this summer as they know that they won’t be able to guarantee him regular playing time – but they are only interested in loaning him out of the club.

Premier League duo of Chelsea and Manchester United have been interested in the teenager, but AC Milan are the ones who have clocked the miles to sign him this summer.

And Bayern recently rejected a loan plus an option of a permanent deal bid from AC Milan for Sanches recently, which has left AC Milan frustrated.

The 19-year-old midfielder is keen to know the plans coach Ancelotti has for him next term, and as per Gazzetta dello Sport, the midfielder will meet the Bayern coach on Tuesday to seek clarification.

The player alongside his agent, Jorge Mendes, is expected at the meeting, and the midfielder is expecting straight answers from the Bayern boss on whether he is going to play regular football next season.

AC Milan and other interested clubs are waiting for the outcome of the meeting between the player, agent and the coach before deciding their next strategy.

Bayern Munich beat off competition from Premier League club Manchester United to sign the wonderkid last summer, but he played little football under coach Ancelotti last season.
