Ranieri declares operation no mercy on Chelsea…

The premier league returns this weekend as Chelsea play their second London derby in a week as they would welcome Fulham to Stamford Bridge at lunchtime on Sunday.

Maurizio Sarri and his men were well and truly beaten 3-1 in their match with Tottenham Hotspur last Saturday, only replying through a late header from substitute Olivier Giroud.

After that loss, a lot of public criticism were led on the manager however the Blues responded with a comfortable 4-0 win in their Europa League clash against PAOK on Thursday night, thanks to an impressive performance by Callum Hudson-Odoi.

On the other side, Fulham will be travelling to the other part of London after a run of nine matches in the Premier League without a win, Fulham, although new manager Claudio Ranieri, won a thrilling game with Southampton 3-2.

These two sides have not played here in the league since September 2013, when Oscar and a rare John Obi Mikel goal secured a 2-0 win.

Ahead of the game, Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri believes his team will bounce back after last Saturday loss while Claudio Ranieri says it’s always special going to Stamford where he was manager four fantastic years at Chelsea, he, however, stressed that despite his love for his opponents he will go to the Blues searching for a win .
